I recently acquired a P266 with 128 MB RAM, and a 4 GB HD. It had Windows XP Pro on it. I removed Windows and installed Slackware 10.1 on it. Runs well.
I put Ubuntu 5.04 back on my P667, updated all the software. I now own three Linux boxes.......plus one Windows XP Pro box that my daughter uses.
I'm done with upgrades for the time being. There shouldn't be any new releases of Linux for a while.

I started to have some issues with Fedora Core 4, yum wasn't working properly. Also, as I've previuosly noticed it can be quite sluggish on this unit.
So I'm back to running Slackware 10.1.
